Fall serious film season has been initiated for Academy potentials, and I am elated to be immersed in it! Whether being back at Mill Valley for the first time since 2006, or just knowing more about Castro’s influence again with Denis last night, it is enlivening to witness today’s social media construct.
To view the stamina that now-magnate Timothée Chalamet has over such global festivals as Cannes and Venice – years now since Call Me By Your Name but not yet even five – is still astounding. His upcoming Dune film with an all-star cast has quite the expectations, IMAX included.
Many more actors and crew are continuing to poke their heads out into the spotlight for consideration as well for a chance at recognition in an already-flooded year, with such films as Spencer, The Last Duel, Mass, The Power of the Dog, Cyrano, tick tick Boom, The Eyes of Tammy Faye, Titane, House of Gucci, Belfast and The Tragedy of Macbeth.
