The past four years have truly been practicing chaos theory, with many devastating consequences. It’s more than just hypothesis of “a butterfly flaps its wings” and you’d get a hurricane resultantly arriving in New York. No, this past presidency ended yesterday with at least 400,000 citizens dead from COVID-19, still at 545 caged children who have not found their parents, an emergency tax-funded wall that was never fully built (maybe only 30 miles?), goodness knows how many firings occurred, illogical unscientific conclusions recommended such as drinking bleach and hydroxychloraquine to cure oneself, getting out of the Paris G7 Accord and the WHO, *GETTING IMPEACHED TWICE*… I feel like I’m just getting started, but I digress — we now have Biden/Harris, which includes the first African/Asian/American and the first female in elected federal position!
Okay, okay, so I must relax and let loose at least, at last! This is, after all, what many thought was an unimaginable time in U.S. history. I knew four years ago, the moment a man with at least six business bankruptcies filed between 1991 – 2009, that BIGLY was indicative our country was in grave danger, and it sure was. I need to calm down!
One last thing… This blog page is largely just in note-taking fashion, and I need to stress that when I produced the concluding movie last year, I was truly hoping we were at the brink of the end of COVID-19 around when it was released, around May 2020. Well, yesterday, prior to inauguration day, we reached the 400K body count, whereas when this premiered, we were just at under 84K, which itself was more than the entire Vietnam War. Staggering. Wear a mask, there is finally hope again!
