So we are here, just over a week after the online release of “Bleaches Spliced”. The data keeps piling up, and it’s already a dated film — most of it is accurate, the one large piece that horrifically continues accumulating is the U.S. death toll. Unlike in the last few infographics, which state by May 14th, CDC reported that there were 83,947 dead Americans, we have now reached a whopping 100K.
This short film is not about commentary — there isn’t a vocal narrative at all. Rather, it compares and contrasts two recent Presidents that each had multiple wives and (mis)managed some of the worst catastrophic public health crises of the United States in modern times.
