Based on the novel by Aldous
Huxley, a futuristic
society hails Henry Ford's invention of the assembly line,
and hence everything is industrialized.
Aside from this, society
has rid itself of emotions with the drug "soma." As
everyone is generated mechanically, only "savages" have
parents, and it is a savage's forced experience in this
emotionless, brave new world
that brings him to
suicide.
Project partly video,
partly theatrical.
For Ms. Wallace's A.S.
English III Class,
Carlmont High School.
Group Members: Ian Ames, Sarah Caves, David
Guarino, Garett Thomas.
